Study Buddy LLC Guru Agreement

Payments

As a Guru you are paid to answer users’ academic questions. A Guru will get paid a base of $.20 USD per question answered. You will receive incentives for having a higher rating. A rating of 4 to 5 a Guru will receive $.10 USD extra per question for a total of $.30 USD. A rating of 3 to 3.99 a Guru will receive $.05 USD extra per question for a total of $.25 USD. A rating of 1 to 2.99 a Guru will receive no extra funds, so they will get paid the base of $.20 USD.

The billing cycle will be the 15th and 30th of every month. A Guru will only get paid out when they reach a minimum of $25 USD. If they have not reached $25 at the end of the billing cycle, the funds will continue onto the next billing cycle and will get paid out when they reach $25 USD.

All payouts will be done through PayPal to ensure safety and security.

Expenses

Study Buddy Mobile LLC is not responsible for any expenses that a Guru has decided to pay while working on the platform. This includes but is not limited to food, internet, laptops, etc.

Liability

Study Buddy Mobile LLC is not responsible or liable for any liabilities. This includes but is not limited to any medical issues, injuries, harassment, or other liabilities that might arise while working on our platform. As an independent contracted worker, a Guru is responsible for all liabilities that happen to them while working on our platform.

Firing

Study Buddy LLC has the right to terminate a Guru from working and answering questions for several reasons. This includes bad performance, harassing users, foul language, consistent 1-2 star reviews, and for any reason that Study Buddy LLC finds suitable.

Hours

As a Guru you are paid to answer users’ academic questions. A Guru will get paid per question. The amount of hours a Guru works is not reflected into the amount they will be compensated.

Taxes

Study Buddy Mobile LLC is not responsible for a Guru’s Taxes. Gurus are responsible for doing their own taxes, following the tax laws in their own Country and or State.
